After my first yoga class at age 17 it became clear that this was the path for me. I was raised in leotards and spent hours a day mastering standing on my hands and tumbling over anything I could find. Moving kinesthetically has always been my way of connecting back to myself, I feel this every time I step on my mat. As soon as I received a Bachelor’s degree from University, I dropped everything and attended my first yoga training which led to three more beginning in 2010. Life for me has not always been rainbows, but instead has been a very difficult road of loss, recovery and allowing myself to breathe in my own skin. Yoga continues to be the thing that paves the path for connection.
Through my own development and understanding of Yoga Asanas, I teach with descriptive language that allows the beginner to the advanced practitioner to understand their movements. Keeping the body safe while moving through asanas is very important to me. With my knowledge I hope to share useful tips on alignment for teaching and practicing. Teaching and sharing is my passion. My goal is to help others connect back to themselves, so that we can all grow together on this beautiful planet called earth. Aren’t we all here to feel just a little better?
